Set Milestones in a Workflow (Workflow State Task)

You can set milestones in your workflow to mark important points in progress.

Before You Begin

Before you can set milestones, you need to create a workflow.

Set a Milestone

  1. In the workflow designer, click Insert First Task or click the + above or below an existing step where you want to set the milestone.
  2. Choose Event Task, then Milestone.
  3. In the right panel, modify the default task name, Milestone.
    Note: It’s a good idea to make your milestone name descriptive and meaningful so that when workflows are in progress, it’s easy to distinguish the workflow progress.
  4. You can check the status of a workflow to see if it has reached certain milestones in the dashboard.
