Did you start your account on an email address that you now no longer use or want to stop using? Did you start your account on a personal email address and now want to switch to your professional email? You can change it.

In this article:

Before You Begin

  • You will need to be an organization owner or organization admin to change the email address.

Change Email Address

Change account or organization email address from the current one to a new one. This involves creating a new email address and then transferring ownership.

  1. Log in to Docubee with your current email address.
    1. Invite the new email address to the organization.
      Note: See Add/Invite Member to Organization in Add, Update, and Remove Organization Members for information on inviting members.
    2. Log out.
  2. In the invitation email you receive, click the link to accept the invitation and be confirmed as a member of the organization.
    1. Log out.
  3. Log in with your current email address.
    1. Transfer organization ownership to the new email address.
      The current email address will lose organization owner permissions and the new one will acquire it.
    2. Remove the old email address from the list of organization members since the new email address is now the organization owner.

    3. Log out.
